Continuing my process on trying to draw things with more detail, I had this idea of drawing a something that lines and that felt more organic than cartoonish, so I started sketching out a rose.

I originally sketched with a very thin line. After some time I was getting a little frustrated with how it was coming along and I decided to walk away and come back the next day. The following day I gave myself more credit than prior.. once I started outlining I could see things look how I was envisioning.

I am still learning how to shade within my program, thats still a learning process.. but all in all I am really enjoying seeing “sketched lines”. 

I’m also not a political person, but after the events of 9/10 and not forgetting what happened 24 years ago on 9/11 – it felt like Make Peace is what we really need. 

Once again, BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY DRAWING TABLET. Aiding me in this art piece was a GAOMON drawing tablet. Along with various art brushes for Affinity Designer.
